NZIMLS QMLT, QPT & QSST Examination Applications

The NZIMLS offers the Qualified Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate (QMLT), the Qualified Phlebotomy Technician Certificate (QPT) and the Qualified Specimen Services Technician Certificate examinations yearly. The QMLT is offered in a number of medical laboratory science discipline/subject areas that include:

Clinical Biochemistry
Immunology
Microbiology
Virology
Medical Cytology
Haematology
Histological Technique
Mortuary Hygiene and Technique
Phlebotomy - QPT
Specimen Services - QSST
Transfusion Science
Transfusion Science - blood products

NB: Not all of the subjects listed may be offered in each year. Please check with the NZIMLS NZIMLS executive office
