    NZIMLS QMLT Examination Regulations & Instructions

    IMPORTANT NOTICE: In the event that New Zealand Aotearoa is in a Level 4 Lockdown at the time of the QMLT examinations, then a postponement date will be advised to ALL candidates.

     

    The following documents contain the regulations governing NZIMLS examinations for both Candidates and Supervisors of the Institute's QMLT examinations. Compliance with the regulations outlined in these documents is mandatory for all Candidates and Supervisors of all NZIMLS examinations.

    QMLT Hours Form

    This form must be completed by candidates who have completed 2,000 hours of practical experience in their discipline of choice.


    Under the new examination regulation that candidates may now sit the examination with six calendar months practical experience - please note that if a candidate is successful with passing the examination, they will not receive their certificate until such time as they have completed 2,000 hours and completed the Practical Assessment (NB: the Practical Assessment must be completed within 12 months of passing the examination).


    Successful candidates must advise and provide the required documentation to the NZIMLS Executive Office. Once this is received, a QMLT certificate will be sent to the candidate.
