 An opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to work on the national SHIVERS project. The project is undertaken by the enthusiastic and dedicated team in the Virology and Immunology Department of LabPLUS at Auckland City Hospital.
This is a part-time (0.5 fte/20 hours per week) position, with a requirement to work on rostered shifts. This fixed term position runs until 31 August 2012.
We are currently looking for a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist/Scientific Officer who will be required to work outside normal hours with limited supervision.
To join our team you would need to have experience of Real Time PCR, be adaptable, have initiative, be aware of the relationship between the laboratory, clinician and patient, and have the appropriate Medical Laboratory Science qualifications, experience and professional registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Board.
