• The  Anatomical Pathology Workshop being held in conjunction with conference on Monday 20th August is now FULL.

  • Those candidates sitting the QMLT examinations this year must gain a minimum of a C grade (50%) in the common syllabus examination component and a minimum of a C Grade (50%) in the discipline specific component of the written examination.
  • New - General QMLT Examination - this is designed for those in smaller laboratories and those working in various disciplines within the laboratory. The syllabus and logbook for the General Technician is available under Education on the NZIMLS website.

Role of the NZIMLS

The NZIMLS is the professional body for practitioners employed in Medical Laboratory Science in New Zealand.  The NZIMLS provides continuing education, professional examinations and communication to ensure the provision of high quality diagnostic laboratory services for the public of New Zealand.
