About the role | Mō te tūranga:

Our Whangarei laboratory is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee or Medical Laboratory Technician to join the Specimen Reception team.  This is a full-time position of 80 Hours fortnightly. It will be Monday to Fridays, between 8 am to 7 pm, working 8-hours shifts. The pay range for this role is $24.84-$30.96 depending on experience.



You will embrace a culture of continuous improvement and solutions focused mindset, to ensure a high level of quality and service. The first point of contact for samples arriving at the lab and a customer service superstar for our clients. You will work collaboratively as part of the team to receive and dispatch samples to our Northland healthcare professionals. Must be friendly, approachable and have great customer service skills.

Bringing a goal-driven mindset fueled by enthusiasm, vigor, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Registered with Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a Current Annual Practising Certificate is desirable, but not essential.

A NZ Restricted or Full Driver’s license.
