About the role 

Using state-of-the-art technology, the Donation Accreditation team ensures that blood and blood products are safe for clinical use by conducting essential testing. 

We are seeking a dynamic individual who is enthusiastic to join a friendly and committed team of professionals as part of an organisation that values its people and is committed to the delivery of safe products and services. 

Your base salary will be between $71,070 to $107,600 depending on skills, experience and registration.

About you

You will also have a positive attitude and have the flexibility to fully participate in our roster that includes evening, weekend, and on-call work. 

Key Qualifications and Attributes 

Registration or eligibility for registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand

A strong background in working within a regulatory framework

A collaborative spirit capable of enhancing a small, quality-driven team

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and patient care. 

Essential Experience

Demonstrated hands-on laboratory experience, particularly in immunohematology, quality control, and infectious disease testing.

Proficiency within blood banking, immunology, serology, blood grouping, and nucleic acid testing analysers is highly desirable.
