Job Description
The DAA Group is an internationally accredited Designated Audit Agency. We undertake audits across New Zealand’s health sector against a range of standards, including the National Quality and Policy Standards relevant to each of the national prevention screening programmes.
We are seeking experienced medical laboratory scientists to be technical expert assessors (TEAs) for our prevention screening programme laboratory audits. Specifically current or very recent experience in anatomical pathology (histology and cytology) is required. Laboratories associated with the National Cervical Screening Programme, the National Bowel Screening Programme, and the Antenatal Childhood Screening Programme (Down’s Syndrome and Other Conditions) are audited as part of the prevention screening programme audits.
As a TEA, you would be providing technical expertise and support to assist the lead auditor in their audit of the programme. You would be available to be part of a two-day on-site audit two to four times per year.
Applicants are required to be registered and with current or very recent experience in anatomical pathology (histology and cytology). You will be required to attend a one-day online training course with us prior to commencing as a TEA.
