We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join one of New Zealands largest tertiary hospital laboratories. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in laboratory automation, specimen services, and project implementation while contributing to the delivery of efficient, high-quality diagnostic services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council www.mscouncil.org.nz with a current annual practicing certificate and have at least 2 years experience in a Biochemistry laboratory.
The department is willing to work with a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist with a provisional Annual Practicing Certificate. A working knowledge of laboratory quality processes and ISO 15189 is essential. Established skills in Specimen Services and Automated Biochemistry using the Roche Cobas systems would be an advantage.
